CAC Item No. 31 Name of the Industry: M/s. AAM India Manufacturing Corporation Pvt. Ltd., Gat No. 787 & 788 Hanga, Tal: Parner, Dist: Ahmednagar. HOD Remarks: 1. Existing unit having consent for production of Drive Heads 1901 Nos./Month & Gears-1088 Nos./Month which was valid up to 31.03.2012. 2. Now applied for consent to establish for expansion for the production of Drive Heads – 1100 Nos./Month, Gears – 9900 Nos./Month, Axle – 8000 Nos./Month & Banjo – 8000 Nos/Month. 3. Total Capital investment of the industry is Rs.203.03 Crores (Existing Unit Capital Investment is Rs.63.11 Crores & Capital Investment of proposed expansion is Rs.140.72 Crore). Industry has paid Consent to Establish fee of Rs.2,81,540/- as per new Consent fee GR dated 25.08.2012. 4. Domestic Effluent – 6.0 CMD. Industry has Soak pit and Septic Tank Provided. Disposal on land for gardening. Industrial Effluent – 1.0 CMD, After primary treatment disposed on land for gardening. 5. The proposed expansion unit in existing plant is located at 2.0 km from river Hanga. The Honga river is not notified. Consent to Establish for expansion to the said unit.

Thane HOD Remarks: • Applied for renewal of consent • Application received at SRO- Tarapur on dtd 29/02/2012 and at HQ on 26/04/2012. • Previous consent was valid up to 30/04/2012 • Industry generating 450 M3/d of effluent for which Industry has provided effluent treatment plant with RO system • Sewage treatment Plant provided by industry for 92.0 CMD domestic effluent. • Fume extraction system followed by 2 nos of scrubbers provided at pickling section • Fume extraction system followed by dust collector system attached to adequate height of stack provided to the furnace • Industry has submitted JVS analysis report dated 09/08/2011, 07/12/2011 & 15/03/2012. Which is under consented limit • Industry submitted the letter on dated 23/04/2012 & reported that they have commissioned operation of MEE on 22/04/2012 • SRO-Tarapur-I recommended the case for renewal of consent. • The unit has installed MEE & commissioned on 23/04/2012. The JVS results are within consented limits. We may grant renewal of consent upto 30/04/2015. • We may place the consent application before CAC for further consideration.
