CAC Item No. 35 Name of the industry: M/s. Apple Sponge And Power Ltd., C-4, Five Star MIDC Industrial Area, Kagal, Kolhapur. HOD Remarks : • Applied for Renewal of consent for Sponge iron plant (existing)and Consent to first operate for Rolling Mill & Captive Power Plant. • Total C. I. is Rs. 130.54 crores. (Existing Sponge Iron plant Rs. 43.08 cr and Rolling mill & CPP Rs.87.46 cr). • Manufacturing :- I} Existing Plant • 1) Sponge Iron:- 6000 MT/M. 2) MS Billets :- 3600 MT/M. II} First Operate 1) Rolling Mill :- 6000 MT/M 2) Captive Power Plant: 10 MW (WHRB- 4 MW & AFBC- 6 MW) • Obtained the Environmental Clearance for additional qty of Sponge iron plant, Induction furnace /Arc furnace, Rolling Mill and captive power plant-10 MW. • Provided ESP to rotary klin of sponge iron plant, Wet scrubber to induction furnace and bag filters to stock house, collar discharge, iron ore crusher, coal crusher, product separation house. • Water sprinkling system near production area and internal roads. • Provided Continuous online monitoring system for stack . • Provided CAAQMS in the factory premises. • JVS results of AAQM for the parameter SPM are exceeding the prescribed limits. And JVS results of Stack air monitoring are within limit except parameter TPM in the month of July. • Submitted Environment Audit Statement for the year 2010-2011and cess returns are submitted Feb-2012. • Have submitted the BG of Rs. 3.0 lac as per last consent condition, which is valid upto 31/5/2012. • Rolling mill furnace is provided with dust collector. • Captive Power Plant is of 10 MW capacity,( from WHRB :- 4 MW & AFBC:- 6 MW). • Provided ESP to the AFBC with stack height of 60 mtrs. • D. M. plant waste water & cooling waste water, treated in collection cum neutralization tank & same recycled back. • SRO recommended the grant of Renewal of consent and first consent to operate. • We may place the case before CAC for approval.
CAC Item No. 36 Name of the industry : M/s. Can Pack India Pvt. Ltd. H 14/1, MIDC,Waluj, Dist –Aurangabad. HOD Remarks : • Applied for consent to Establish. • Will manufacture glass bottles of various size for beverage industries. • Capital Investment is Rs.425.00 crores. • Industrial effluent will be 46 CMD, ETP will be provided. Proposal submitted. Further will be dispose to CETP. • Domestic effluent will be 48 CMD, STP will be provided, proposal submitted. • Will provide Furnace oil fired Furnaces 2 Nos. • 5 no of D. G. sets will amount to 1 MW generation. • Paid fees of Rs. 850000/- as per the new fees schedule. • RO Aurangabad has recommended the grant of consent to Establish. • We may place the consent application before CAC for further consideration.
