HOD Remarks :
1. Application received at RO Raigad 07/04/2012
2. Industry representation made on dated 17/04/2012 before Hon’ble
Chairman of the Board.
3. Application recd at HQ 07/05/2012
4. Product- Viscose Staple fiber, Qty- 6667 MT/M
5. C to E given in Oct 2005, exempting EC as earlier NOC was given prior to 1994
notification.
6. Subsequently, C to E was given in June 2009 & Oct 2011 for change in name /
plot addition.
7. There was no expiry clause in C To E or Amendment. Industry has now applied
for EC.
8. SRO has issued notice to the industry for fresh application as 5 yrs of validity of
first C to E i.e. 2005 is over.
9. Industry has represented against that and mentioned that, this 5 yrs conditions
has not been mentioned in C To E or amendment granted to them.
10. Now industry has submitted a fresh application for C to E & also requested to
withdrawal and return of fees.
11. SRO has reported only leveling and compound wall work is in progress.
12. SRO has remarked that suitable decision may be taken at HQ.
This may be placed before CAC for policy decision regarding refund of consent
fees and validity of C to E.
