• Applied for renewal of consent
• Application received at SRO- Pune on dtd 31/01/2012 and at HQ on 12/04/2012
• Previous consent was valid up to 31/03/2012
• Industrial Effluent Generation is 200 CMD for which industry has provided 2 Nos effluent
treatment plant
• Domestic effluent generation is 720 CMD for which provided sewage treatment plant.
• JVS analysis result on dated 24/01/2011,22/02/2012,23/03/2011, & 30/09/2011is under
prescribed limit
• Total Land available for disposal of treated effluent is 9.65 hectares
• Industry has provided double chambered captive incinerator, Wet scrubber followed by
stack of height 30 mtrs.
• RO Pune reported that incinerator provided for disposal of paint sludge need to be
stopped being proximately to residential area.
• SRO- PC issued letter to industry on dated 09/02/2012 for various non compliances
observed.
• RO Pune has recommended the case for grant of renewal of consent after receipt of the
satisfactory reply of the letter issued by SRO
• Industry not submitted the reply of the same
• The industry has provided APC for paint booth. The land available for disposal of
effluent 920 M3/D is totally inadequate. The incinerator is not as per CPCB guidelines.
We may issued SCN for refusal for non compliance.
• We may place the consent application before CAC for further consideration.
