DEDICATION This dissertation is written and dedicated to the memory of my father who has always been a source of inspiration. He was the first and main person who instilled in me the love to learn. He kept on encouraging me to learn in spite of financial constraints. May his soul rest in peace. This work is also dedicated to my beloved mother for planting in me a seed of positiveness, enthusiasm to achieve the goals set and never to give up.
