Inclusion <strong>of</strong>this item is important, as the amputees have to be preparedphysically and<br />
psychologicallybefore beingintroducedinto the community.<br />

The above figures indicate that the amputees who were assessed for readiness to be<br />
integrated into the community were (17) 68010, except (8) 32% who were not assessed.<br />
Assessment <strong>of</strong>the amputees for community reintegration ensure their readiness, which<br />
will result in good coping with their disabilities and better utilization <strong>of</strong>rehabilitation<br />
servICeS.<br />
5.7.2 ITEM31 HOME VISIT BY THE REHABILITATION TEAM<br />
Inclusion <strong>of</strong> this item is necessary- because it helps the rehabilitation team to identifY<br />
problems which mightbe an obstacle towards. roinunmity reintegration <strong>of</strong>the client, like<br />
physical barriers. This item also enables the rehabilitation team to identify fue cultmal<br />
