SCOPE OF WORK AND SPECIAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Broad Scope of Work: The hired vehicle will be required for usage by
Senior officers/VIPs/Official guests in Mumbai/Projects work-centers
in the state of Maharashtra, Gujarat & Goa etc.
The model of vehicles offered by the contractor should be of 2006
model i.e. the first registration being month of January 2006
onwards. The vehicles should be in tiptop conditions, duly registered
with R.T.O. taxes paid and comprehensively insured covering the risk
of all officers/guests of GAIL traveling in the vehicle. The vehicles
should have valid Tourist taxi permit. List of vehicles owned by
Contractor, type & model must be attached with the offer.
2. Operation Norms & Conditions:
2.1 The kilometer age run shall normally be counted from GAIL’s
reporting place in Mumbai only. However, the duty hours and
kilometer age run of the hired vehicle may be counted from the
reporting time of the hired vehicle at the place where vehicle
initially reports for GAIL’s duty. No hire charges shall be payable
to the contractor for kilometer age run from his parking place or
garage to the reporting place and vice versa. However, if the KM
run from the garage to the place of reporting is more than the KM
run from the garage to GAILALAYA (BKC) Bandra (E), the difference
of kms shall only be payable. Normally, the reporting place shall
be GAILALAYA(BKC), Bandra (East), Mumbai. The contractor shall
provide mobile phone to each driver for proper co-ordination and
PLACARD should be provided with each driver as directed from
time to time.
One packed mineral water bottle & one Newspaper should be
provided in each vehicle per day of duty apart from one hand
towel. Air freshener is required in all vehicles.
