3.3 Hydrology
An examination of the SEPA indicative flood map for the site indicates that the site is unlikely to be at risk
of flooding. The proposed turbine site is located outside the indicative flood plains of Old Patrick Water.

It is anticipated that the development will have no impact on the watercourses or groundwater. The
contractor will follow all planning policy guidelines in relation to pollution control as outlined by SEPA.
The turbine and access roads will not have any positive drainage proposals and therefore will provide
Greenfield runoff and be designed in accordance with planning guidelines and SEPA recommendations.
Ensuring the above notes are taken in to account the proposed development will present no hydrological
constraints.
3.4 Forestry
No significant constraints are expected as there are no areas of forestry identified on the site which are
likely to be affected by the proposed turbine. Should additional screening be necessary, it would be
possible to extend this natural effect by planting within the site boundaries.
