eWebEdit400 Enhancements<br />

Spell Checking- eWebEdit400’s spell checking now supports multiple languages. See<br />

"Setting the Spell Check Language" in the <strong>Ektron</strong> Administrator Manual.<br />

Image Editing- A new Image Editor has been added to eWebEdit400. See the "Editing an<br />

Image" section in <strong>Ektron</strong> User Manual.<br />

Microsoft SQL 2005<br />

As of 7.6.0, you must use Microsoft SQL 2005 SP2 or higher as your database. If you are<br />

running an earlier version, you must upgrade Microsoft SQL before installing <strong>Ektron</strong> version<br />

7.6.0.<br />

Microsoft ASP .NET Framework 3.5<br />

As of 7.6.0, Microsoft ASP .NET Framework 3.5 must be installed on your server. If it is not,<br />

<strong>Ektron</strong> will not work properly. When you start the <strong>Ektron</strong> base install, the install checks to<br />

see if .NET 3.5 is installed. If it is not, a dialog appears offering to install it. Note: Once the<br />

.NET 3.5 install is finished, you will need to restart the base install. The following<br />

components of <strong>Ektron</strong> require Microsoft ASP .NET Framework 3.5:<br />

l <strong>Ektron</strong> Windows Service<br />

l eSync<br />

l eCommerce<br />
