The company is located in Toulouse, France. Innovation at Epsiline is the result of 15 years research and know-how in optoelectronics. Innovation was conducted among optoelectronics and photonics research groups. Our products are optical anemometers emitting laser beams. Each beam is focused on wind particles (aerosols) acting as light scatterers. The scattered light shows a wavelength shift: this phenomenon is commonly known as the Doppler Effect. Our technology detects the Doppler shift signal induced by wind flow to access an accurate wind speed measurement and is designed to show significant improvements in comparison with current anemometers.

The starting point was a simple, yet revolutionary idea: to democratize carbon fibre thanks to a mass production process, pultrusion. This is the mission the company shrived for since the beginning. EPSILON COMPOSITE then progressively turned into the first company worldwide fully dedicated to produce tubes and profiles with Carbon fibre and Epoxy resins. The company then focused on defining products, based on carbon fibre pultrusion, that should be the alternative to traditional solutions on the market and it organised itself to do so with: EPSILON PuLTRuSION, our core business, with activities in: • Niche markets: industry and sport • Construction and civil engineering • Oil and Gas extraction • Wind energy • Automotive EPSILON ROLLERS, vertical integration capitalizing on EPSILON PULTRUSION know-how and catering to the needs of: • Film extrusion industry (plastic films or other foils) • Textile and non-woven, paper making industry • Printing technologies, • Electronic technologies (Machines to manufacture LCD screens, PCB…) EPSILON AEROSPACE, Pultruded structural parts for aeronautics since 2010. 19
