TAKE notice that it is the intention of the Warden of<br />

the Goldfield mentioned hereunder, on the date mentioned,<br />

to issue out of the Warden 's Court an order<br />

authorising the cancellation of registration of the undermentioned<br />

Mining Tenements in accordance with Regulation<br />

193 of "The Mining Act, 1904." Au order may<br />

issue in the absence of the registered holder, but should<br />

he desire to object to such order lie must, before the date<br />

mentioned, lodge at the Warden's Office an objection<br />

containing the grounds of such objection, and, on the<br />

date mentioned, the Warden will proceed to hear and<br />

determine the same, in accordance with the evidence<br />

then submitted.<br />

NOTICE is hereby given of the intention of the Minister<br />

of Water Supply, Sewerage, and Drainage to undertake<br />

the construction of the works hereinafter described,<br />

by virtue of the powers contained under the provisions<br />

of ."The Metropolitan Water Supply, Sewerage, and<br />

Drainage Act, 1909":<br />

METROPOLITAN WATER SUPPLY IMPROVE-<br />

MENTS.<br />

Proposed Filtration Plant at Mount Hawthorn.<br />

Description of Proposed Works.<br />

Four filter beds constructed of concrete and re-inforced<br />

concrete, with stone, gravel, and sand filtering<br />

medium; together with pipes, valves, and all necessary<br />

apparatus.<br />

The Localities in which the Proposed Works will be<br />

Constructed.<br />

On the Water Supply Reserve Lots 948, 949, and 950,<br />

of Perthshire Location Au, at the corner of French and<br />

Roberts Streets, Mt. Hawthorn. The whole of the above<br />

works are as indicated in red on Plan M.W.S., S., &<br />

D.D., W.A., No. 4171.<br />

The Purposes for which the Proposed: Works are to be<br />

Constructed.<br />

For water purification.<br />

The Times when and Places at which Plans, Sections,<br />

and Specifications may be inspected.<br />

At the Office of the Minister of Water Supply, Sewerage<br />

and Drainage, 56 James Street, Perth, for one<br />

month on and after the fourth day of May, 1923, between<br />

the hours of 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.<br />
