News F E A T U R I N G T H E B E S T O F G E R M A N M E D I C I N E الأ خبار Helicobacter pylori هيليكوباكرت بيلوري The Nobel Prize 2005 for physiology or medicine was awarded to the two Australian scientists Robin Warren and Barry Marshall for the sensational discovery of the bacterium Helicobacter pylori. They found out that this bacterium is responsible for a multitude of gastro-intestinal diseases and that it is also one of the main causes for duodenal and gastric ulcers. Helicobacter pylori lodges below the protective mucous coat of the gaster and it even withstands the aggressivelyacidic milieu of the gaster. The bacterium measures only about three thousandths millimetres. Under the grid electron microscope Helicobacter pylori appears as a banana-shaped form with several flagellums at one end for movement. The bacterium is tested by means of a gastroscopy, during which several tissue samples are taken from the gastric and intestinal mucosa. The results of the examination can be found out right after the procedure in the examination room using a rapid test. Like all other bacteria Helicobacter pylori is successfully treated with antibiotics. The identification of Helicobacter pylori as a pathogenic germ was a great achievement for the two Australian researchers. منحت جائزة نوبل للفيزيولوجيا او للطب يف عام ٢٠٠٥ للباحثني الأ ‏سرتاليني روبني وارين وبريي مارشال لالإ كتشاف الرائع جلرثومة ‏»هيليكوباكرت بيلوري«.‏ لقد توصال باأن هذه البكترييا تسبب الأ مراض التي تصيب املعدة و الأ معاء وهي اأيضا من اأكرب املسببني ملرضي قرحة املعدة وقرحة الإ ثني عرش.‏ هيليكوباكرت بيلوري تختبئ حتت الغشاء املخاطي الواقي للمعدة وهي تستطيع اأن تقاوم احلمض القوي يف املعدة.‏ هذه البكترييا حجمها واحد على الثالث اآلف من املليميرت.‏ حتت املجهر الإ لكرتوين تظهر هذه البكترييا كشكل املوزة وتوجد على اأحد اأطرافها ‏سياط متكنها من احلركة.‏ لقد مت فحص هذه اجلرثومة من خالل تنظري املعدة،‏ اأثناء هذا الفحص مت اأخذ عينات خمتلفة من الغشاء املخاطي للمعدة و الأ معاء.‏ نتائج الإ ختبار ميكن احلصول عليها فوراً‏ بعد اإنتهاء التشخيص باإجراء حتليل ‏رسيع.‏ كباقي البكترييا الأ خرى ميكن القضاء وبنجاح على هذه البكترييا عن طريق املضادات احليوية.‏ اإكتشاف بكترييا هيليكوباكرت بيلوري كجرثومة مسببة للعديد من الأ مراض يعترب اإجناز كبري للباحثني الأ ‏سرتاليني.‏
