1 PRELIMINARY<br />
1.1 Structure <strong>of</strong> the <strong>Request</strong> <strong>for</strong> <strong>Tender</strong><br />
1.1.1 This <strong>Request</strong> <strong>for</strong> <strong>Tender</strong> (RFT) by [...INSERT AGENCY NAME...], invites tenders <strong>for</strong> the<br />

1.1.3 The Introduction provides background material <strong>and</strong> in<strong>for</strong>mation concerning this project.<br />
Nothing in the Introduction shall be construed as a representation on the part <strong>of</strong> the<br />

project schedule. Where a conflict exists between the Introduction <strong>and</strong> any other part <strong>of</strong> this<br />

2 BACKGROUND<br />

This might cover a general description <strong>of</strong> the functions <strong>and</strong> structure <strong>of</strong> the agency, geographic distribution,<br />
corporate objectives, key business processes <strong>and</strong> service delivery objectives, particularly where they<br />
relate strongly to the Agency’s banking services. Note: The Agency should provide sufficient in<strong>for</strong>mation to<br />
permit tenderers to attain a general underst<strong>and</strong>ing <strong>of</strong> the Agency’s functions <strong>and</strong> related business<br />
requirements.<br />
3 BANKING SERVICES<br />
3.1 Services to be Provided<br />
3.1.1 In general terms, the Services to be provided cover [….INSERT DETAILS…]<br />
This should include a general summary <strong>of</strong> the Agency’s Banking Services requirements e.g.: transactional<br />
banking services including, but not limited to, the provision <strong>of</strong> accounts <strong>and</strong> deposit facilities, cheque <strong>and</strong><br />
electronic payment distribution <strong>and</strong> settlement, revenue collection, purchase card facilities <strong>and</strong> related account<br />
<strong>and</strong> transaction in<strong>for</strong>mation services. Access to a branch network <strong>for</strong> paper <strong>and</strong> cash deposits <strong>and</strong> cheque<br />
encashment is also included in the services to be provided. Note: The Agency should ensure that the in<strong>for</strong>mation<br />
provided in this section is consistent with the in<strong>for</strong>mation provided in the detailed Statement <strong>of</strong> Requirements at<br />
Part Four.<br />
3.1.2 Part Two (Annex C) to this RFT provides in<strong>for</strong>mation on the current <strong>and</strong> projected<br />
transactions <strong>for</strong> [...INSERT AGENCY NAME...], its bank account structures <strong>and</strong> significant<br />
cash flows.<br />
3.1.3 The complete Statement <strong>of</strong> Requirement is located in Part Four <strong>of</strong> this RFT.<br />
