'IfI am able to pit my one Sikh, against One lakh and twenty five<br />

thousand, only then I shall (bejustifiedin calling) call my name as<br />

Gobind Singh '. Such was the spirit inculcated in the Khalsa by its<br />

creator.<br />

Ultimately the inevitable happened and Sahibzada fell in the field,<br />

and became a part of the list, of the brave Sikh soldiers, who fought<br />

against the tyrannical and fanatic forces against whom the Sikh Gurus<br />

starting from Guru Nanak were carrying over the crusade to liberate<br />

the people and the country.<br />

What happened next, is still more unprecedented, unbelievable<br />
