42 HAMPTON TOWN REPORT<br />
Mrs. Donald Munsey made the motion that this<br />
report be accepted and placed on file, and the Committee<br />
be thanked for their work. Seconded. So<br />
Voted.<br />
The Selectmen were thanked for their assistance,<br />
and the Budget Committee for their work in preparation<br />
of the Budget.<br />
The expression of opinion on recessing the Town<br />
Meeting as was done this year, was about equal for<br />
and against — of those present. Not as large attendance<br />
as formerly.<br />
Mr. Bernard R. Barteau presented the following<br />
Resolution which was carried<br />
Resolution for Hampton Town Meeting<br />
March 12, <strong>1963</strong><br />
RESOLVED: That this meeting is in favor of the<br />
Board of Selectmen granting to the Hamptons' Post<br />
No. 35, American Legion, an easement over Tuck<br />
Field for the purpose of permitting access to an<br />
area bounding on the Westerly side of Tuck Field<br />
and on the Easterly side of the proposed new location<br />
of Park Avenue upon said American Legion acquiring<br />
said premises.<br />
Mr. Douglass E. Hunter presented the following<br />
resolution which received unanimous approval of the<br />
assembly.<br />
RESOLUTION: In view of the demise of our Town<br />
Historian, Miss Adeline Marston who was also a<br />
member of the "Grist Mill Committee" I would ask<br />
that this body place in its<br />
records due consideration<br />
for a lifetime of teaching our young, recording our<br />
towns actions for posterity, working personally for
