* ARTICLE 5. To vote on the question: "Shall<br />
Sweepstakes Tickets be sold in this city or town."<br />
ARTICLE 6.<br />
To see if the town will vote to accept<br />
the Budget as submitted by the Budget Committee<br />
and to raise and appropriate the sum of $773,-<br />
574.00.<br />
ARTICLE 7. To see if the town will vote to give<br />
the Selectmen and Town Treasurer power to borrow<br />
money in anticipation of taxes.<br />
ARTICLE 8.<br />
To see if the town will vote to give<br />
the Selectmen power to administer, sell or otherwise<br />
dispose of any Real Estate acquired through<br />
tax deeds, any sale to be at Public Auction.<br />
ARTICLE 9. To see if the town will vote to authorize<br />
the Board of Selectmen to grant 15 year<br />
leases instead of the present 10 year leases,<br />
for all<br />
leases terminated or expiring after April 1, 1965.<br />
ARTICLE 10. To see if the town will vote to<br />
have the vacant town land at Plaice Cove bounded<br />
on the north by Lot 537 and on the south by Lots<br />
536 and 528 surveyed out into lots to be leased to<br />
private persons by the Board of Selectmen in the<br />
best interests of the town.<br />
ARTICLE 11.<br />
To see if the town will vote to use<br />
voting machines at the March 1965 Town Meeting<br />
provided voting machines are available and permitted<br />
for use at the 1965 Town Meeting on a trial basis.<br />
ARTICLE 12.<br />
To see if the town will vote to discontinue<br />
issuing Real Estate Agent and Victualers<br />
Licenses and discontinue collecting fees from persons<br />
engaged in these pursuits.
