Remark:<br />
Potassium was added in a geometric series of<br />
concentrations, from 5 to 12 concentration levels were used.<br />
Test medium was natural Lake Superior water. The test was run<br />
with and without food addition. Two parallel beakers were used<br />
at each concentration. There was 10 daphnids less than 24h old<br />
in each beaker at the start of the test. Test temperature was<br />
18 ± 1 o C. A 16 h photoperiod was used during testing. Only<br />
the result of test without food is referred.<br />
