Sehr verehrte Freunde der Numismatik!
Der Berufsverband des Deutschen Münzenfachhandels
e. V. heißt Sie auch 2014 in Berlin zur
World Money Fair herzlich willkommen!
Wir begrüßen besonders herzlich den diesjährigen
Ehrengast, unser Nachbarland Österreich!
Diese größte Münzenmesse der Welt vereint hier
in Berlin alle Bereiche der Numismatik. Diese
Messe baut eine einzigartige Brücke für das
Münzwesen über alle Zeitepochen hinweg von
der Antike bis in die Zukunft! Händler und Sammler
aus der ganzen Welt, Münzdirektoren der
wichtigsten Ausgabestaaten, Produzenten, Maschinenhersteller
und staatliche Institutionen
finden hier in Berlin eine Plattform vor, die einmalig
in der Welt der Münzen ist! Die Messetage
in Berlin sind randvoll mit Rahmenveranstaltungen,
Präsentationen, Events, aber vor allem mit
Treffen und Gesprächen.
Gerade in unserer heutigen Zeit, die durch die
neue Kommunikation geprägt ist, freut man sich
besonders auf ein persönliches Treffen mit Kunden
und Kollegen. Die World Money verknüpft
die weltweit führende Fachmesse mit der größten
Publikumsmesse der Branche.
Während der drei Publikumstage erwarten wir
ein lebhaftes Treiben im gesamten Estrel-Hotel,
das inzwischen bis in den letzten Winkel vom
Thema „Münzen“ erobert worden ist.

As every year, the German numismatic trade
association “Berufsverband des Deutschen
Münzenfachhandels e. V.” gives you a warm
welcome to the World Money Fair in Berlin!
We extend a cordial welcome to our neighbor
and this year‘s Guest of Honor Austria!
The largest coin fair worldwide unites all aspects
of numismatics in Berlin. This event builds bridges
across all periods of minting from antiquity to the
future. Countless dealers and collectors from all
over the world, mint directors from the most
important issuing countries, producers, machine
manufacturers and public institutions – in Berlin
they find a platform which is unique in the world
of coins. The fair schedule is packed with framing
events, presentations, conferences, and above
all, with meetings and conversations.
Especially in these modern times, with so many
new ways of communicating, one looks forward,
in particular, to the personal encounters with
customers and colleagues. The World Money Fair
combines the leading trade and industry show
and a numismatic event for a wider public.
Hotel Estrel will be buzzing with activity during
the three days of the fair, with the talk being all
about coins.
Der erste Messetag ist traditionell der Erstausgabetag
der deutschen 2 € Sondermünze. Im
Rahmen dieser Messe wird diese Münze im Bundeskanzleramt
feierlich vorgestellt.
Von unseren inzwischen mehr als 230 Mitgliedern
nimmt die Mehrheit entweder als Aussteller
oder als Fachbesucher an der World Money Fair
teil. Der Berufsverband des deutschen Münzenfachhandels
e.V. unterhält wieder einen großen
Informationsstand mit unverbindlicher Begutachtung
und Schätzung von Münzen, einem Glücksrad,
Münztauschaktion sowie weiteren Events.
Als größter Fachverband in Europa sind wir auch
in die Organisation der Messe eingebunden und
stehen Ihnen jederzeit mit Rat und Tat zur Seite.
Die Veranstaltung wird auch in diesem Jahr wieder
ein voller Erfolg werden!

Traditionally, the new German € 2 commemorative
coin is issued on the first day of the
World Money Fair. The ceremonial presentation
of the coin is held at the Federal Chancellery.
Most of the meanwhile over 230 members of our
association take part in the fair, either as an
exhibitor or as a visitor. The Berufsverband will
again have a large information stand where
we will offer noncommittal assessment and
valuation of coins, a wheel of fortune, a coin
swap promotion and other events.
As the largest professional association in Europe
we are also involved with the organization of
the fair and will be pleased to provide general
assistance and information at any time.
We are confident that the event will again be a
complete success this year!
