Assigning control changes<br />
You can assign control change numbers to<br />
the principal parameters accessed by the<br />
EDIT SELECT 1 and 2 knobs and knobs<br />
1–5.<br />
When you operate a knob that corresponds<br />
to one of the parameters shown<br />
below, the assigned control change will be<br />
transmitted. If the microKORG receives<br />
the assigned control change, the parameter<br />
value corresponding to that knob will<br />
be adjusted.<br />
The default settings of these parameters<br />
are shown on page 56.<br />
Procedure<br />
1 Hold down the SHIFT key and press<br />
the 5 key.<br />
The display will indicate " ."<br />
2 Turn the EDIT SELECT 1 or EDIT<br />
SELECT 2 dial to select the section that<br />
contains the parameter whose control<br />
change you want to specify.<br />
3 Turn each knob to select the desired<br />
MIDI control change number (oFF,<br />
C.00..C.95).<br />
If the specified number is currently<br />
assigned to another parameter, the last<br />
decimal point "." in the display will<br />
light.<br />
4 When you have finished making<br />
settings, press the lit 5 key or the<br />
SHIFT key.<br />
The microKORG will return to its<br />
normal state.<br />
The MIDI "MIDI CH" knobs 1 and 2<br />
will select the control change number<br />
for TIMBRE SELECT and SYNC CTRL.<br />
