Preload<br />

The average amount of preload for <strong>Linear</strong> <strong>Way</strong> and <strong>Linear</strong> Roller <strong>Way</strong> is shown in Table 3. When both<br />

rigidity and vibration characteristics are important, the standard preload amount is 1/3 of the applied load for<br />

<strong>Linear</strong> <strong>Way</strong> and 1/2 for <strong>Linear</strong> Roller <strong>Way</strong>.<br />

A summary of applicable preload types is shown in Table 4. For details, see the description of each series.<br />
