Generally, two sets of Linear Way Modules are used in parallel as shown in Fig. 36. They are usually mounted
according to the following procedure. (See Fig. 37.)
1 Cleaning of mounting surfaces
Remove burrs and blemishes from
reference mounting surfaces and
mounting surfaces of the machine
using an oil-stone, etc., and then
wipe the surfaces with clean cloth.
(See Fig. 38.)
Remove rust preventive oil and dirt
from Linear Way Module reference
mounting surfaces and mounting
surfaces with clean cloth.

2 Fixing of track rails
Correctly fit the reference mounting
surfaces of Track Railsandto the
reference mounting surfaces of the
bed and bring them in close contact
using a small vise, etc. Tighten the
mounting bolt at the position of the
vise. (See Fig. 39.)
