Generally, two sets of <strong>Linear</strong> <strong>Way</strong> Modules are used in parallel as shown in Fig. 36. They are usually mounted<br />

according to the following procedure. (See Fig. 37.)<br />

1 Cleaning of mounting surfaces<br />

Remove burrs and blemishes from<br />

reference mounting surfaces and<br />

mounting surfaces of the machine<br />

using an oil-stone, etc., and then<br />

wipe the surfaces with clean cloth.<br />

(See Fig. 38.)<br />

Remove rust preventive oil and dirt<br />

from <strong>Linear</strong> <strong>Way</strong> Module reference<br />

mounting surfaces and mounting<br />

surfaces with clean cloth.<br />

2 Fixing of track rails<br />

Correctly fit the reference mounting<br />

surfaces of Track Railsandto the<br />

reference mounting surfaces of the<br />

bed and bring them in close contact<br />

using a small vise, etc. Tighten the<br />

mounting bolt at the position of the<br />

vise. (See Fig. 39.)<br />
