When machines using <strong>Linear</strong> <strong>Way</strong> require high running accuracy and rigidity, prepare two mating reference<br />

mounting surfaces on the bed and one mating reference mounting surface on the table, then perform the<br />

following procedure. (See Fig. 27.)<br />

1Cleaning of mounting surfaces and reference mounting surfaces<br />

Remove burrs and blemishes from<br />

mounting surfaces and reference<br />

mounting surfaces of the machine<br />

using an oil-stone, etc., and then<br />

wipe the surfaces with clean cloth.<br />

(See Fig. 28.)<br />

Remove rust preventive oil and dirt<br />

from <strong>Linear</strong> <strong>Way</strong> reference mounting<br />

surfaces and mounting surfaces with<br />

clean cloth.<br />

Correctly fit the reference mounting<br />

surfaces of <strong>Linear</strong> <strong>Way</strong>and<br />

track rails onto the mating reference<br />

mounting surfaces of the bed, and<br />

temporarily fix the track rails with<br />

mounting bolts. (See Fig. 29.)<br />
