RHS Chart - edition 2007 Origin and Breeding Controlled pollination: seed parent ‘TPP1’ x pollen parent ‘TPP3’ in 1996 at Tropical Primary Products, Humpty Doo, NT. The seed parent is characterised by firm fruit, yellow orange flesh colour, smaller size and early timing. The pollen parent is not described but was characterised as ‘unsuitable fruit quality for market needs’. The seedling fruited in 2002 and the unique and attractive features of the fruits were noted. Selection took place in Humpty Doo, NT. Selection criteria: quality of fruit. Propagation: vegetative grafts were found to be uniform and stable.
