Conditions<br />
Trial conducted in outside commercial production area,<br />
rooted cuttings (propagated from stock plants grown at<br />
Winmalee) potted into 150mm standard pots in commercial<br />
potting mix, nutrients supplied by slow release and liquid feed<br />
fertiliser application, plant protection treatments applied as<br />
necessary. No pinching or other plant shaping treatments<br />
were applied.<br />
Trial Design 10 plants of the candidate variety were grown to confirm<br />
overseas test report data.<br />
Measurements Taken at random from 10 plants.<br />

Origin and Breeding<br />
Controlled pollination: seed parent proprietary breeding line ‘02-150’ x pollen parent<br />
proprietary breeding line ‘03-12’ in a planned breeding program. Seed parent is<br />
characterised by flower colour white and pale yellow. Pollen parent is characterised<br />
by plant habit open uneven; flower head type single; flower colour dark yellow.<br />
Selection criteria: foliage colour, plant habit, flower habit, flower colour. Selection<br />
was done at Winmalee, NSW, <strong>Australia</strong> in May 2004. Propagation: by vegetative tip<br />
cuttings, no off types occurred in at least three successive vegetative generations<br />
during the selection process and in numerous vegetative generations since selection.<br />
‘Bonmadcrel’ will be commercially propagated by vegetative tip cuttings. Breeder: Dr<br />
