RUCKSACKS
THE DIFFERENCE IS IN THE DETAIL...
Here are just a few of the many details
that set our rucksacks apart:
1. Dual access to main compartment
Some of our rucksack models provide access
from above and are additionally equipped
with a U-shaped zip on the front of the pack.
This allows rapid access to the contents and
facilitates organised packing.
2. Fold out waist belt pocket
For secure transport and easy access to important
items, such as a wallet or a drinks
bottle.
3. Removable back plate
When every gram counts, the back plate can
be removed on some of our (alpine) rucksacks.
This strip down option allows the rucksack to
be used as an ultra-light softpack.
4. STRETCHBELT waist belt
Seamlessly integrated into the body of the
pack for a secure fit and superior freedom
of movement. The STRETCHBELT is made of
active stretch, breathable fabric. Its closure
system is precision-adjustable, rather like
a mountain bike protector belt.
5. Single-handed attachment
Allows trekking poles and ice tools to be
attached to the rucksack via an elasticated
attachment loop using just one hand.
6. Stretch inserts
Special stretch fabric panels make it easier
to open and close the zips on fully packed
rucksacks. They also increase a pack’s volume.
7. Gear loops
To attach extra pockets or other attachment
modules (APPs), such as helmet attachment.
8. Zips and buckles
Our zips and buckles are also specifically
designed to suit the activity profile of each
rucksack. For example, zips designed for easy
handling, even when gloved up.
