SUSPENSION SYSTEMS:
ACS CLASSIC:
The hiking pack suspension system, characterised by its contin
uous ventilation performance (ACS stand for AIR CONTROL
SYSTEM). The flexible frame creates a gap between the back
and the pack and reduces the contact surface. This ensures a
constant supply of fresh air. Perforated padding and mesh
cov ering fabrics contribute to the climate comfort.
ACS TIGHT:
This full­contact carry system fits close to the body and delivers
full freedom of movement combined with optimal ventilation
(ACS stand for AIR CONTROL SYSTEM). A central ventilation
channel, perforated padding and mesh fabrics promote constant
expulsion of moist air away from the body. In addition, the fullcontact
fit keeps the weight close to the body and thus ensures
good freedom of movement.
• ACS TIGHT ALPINE: Designed specifically for alpine rucksacks,
with a flexible spring steel frame that optimises the
stability and load distribution. Extremely breathable padding
and contact surfaces.
• ACS TIGHT HIKE: The suspension system for larger hiking
rucksacks has flexible aluminium struts for good shape retention
and lateral flexibility. The shoulder straps and waist
belt have extra thick padding.
• ACS TIGHT LITE: An extremely lightweight, flexible suspension
system for biking packs. The shoulder straps ensure
a good fit and excellent ventilation.
FLEX MOTION
FLEX MOTION:
The flexible, full contact suspension system for active sports; it
offers maximum freedom of movement, a secure carry and
good ventilation. The six flexible contact zones are designed
to cushion the impact precisely where it occurs. The STRETCH
BELT keeps the pack close to the body and stows away when
not in use.
FLEXCONTACT:
This robust, thermoformed, full­contact suspension system
facilitates optimal load control and mobility on alpine terrain.
The flexible back plate can be removed to save weight and
create an ultra lightweight “softpack”.
SNUGGLE UP:
Our SNUGGLE UP suspension system has been a feature of our
daypacks for office and everyday use for more than fifteen
years. Its key feature is the special shoulder yoke, with a wide
contact surface that distributes the load evenly. The fully padded
back section prevents hard items in the pack from digging
into the back. Selected models include a detachable waist belt.
• SNUGGLE UP AIR: This version of the SNUGGLE UP
suspension system has a central ventilation channel for superior
climate comfort.
• SNUGGLE UP PLUS: This version of the suspension system
has extra soft padded shoulder straps with an integrated
carry grip and extra thick padding on the back.
X-TRANSITION
X-TRANSITION:
Our tried and tried and tested, fully padded suspension system
for trekking rucksacks. Two crossed aluminium support struts
form a strong yet flexible frame which provides even load distribution.
The system ensures excellent freedom of movement
with loads up to 25 kg. The height­adjustable shoulder straps
and variable back length mean the rucksack gives a precise fit.
The system is available in anatomically designed versions specific
to men and women.
