REAL DOME (RD): The poles of our REAL DOME tents describe<br />
a steeper angle to the ground than conventional dome<br />
tents, which increases the amount of usable space inside the<br />
tent and improves the pitch stability. The advantages:<br />
1. Variable diameter pole sections ensure that the tent<br />
retains its shape better in strong winds, since the tent<br />
flexes to counteract the pressure. It is also better able<br />
to withstand the forces acting on the roof area.<br />
2. The steeper angle of the poles allows optimal use of<br />
space in spite of the small pitching area.<br />
3. The tent is extremely quick and easy to pitch thanks to<br />
the selfsupporting, freestanding dome design.<br />
REAL TUNNEL (RT): Our patented, multi awardwinning<br />
technology for tunnel tents. The pole sections have a<br />
slightly convex form at the sides and are flatter at the top<br />
than conventional tunnel constructions. The individual pole<br />
sections have different diameters. This delivers increased<br />
stability at the sides of the tent and more flexibility in the<br />
roof area. The triangular guying system at the base of the<br />
poles also provides greater pitch stability. The advantages:<br />

1. Wind tunnel tests have demonstrated that REAL TUNNEL<br />
tents have better stability in side winds. Even at wind<br />
speeds of 80 km/h there is very little movement.<br />
2. The convex pole design and CORNER EDGES increase<br />
the amount of useable space. The entire floor area of the<br />
tent can be used.<br />
3. The superior pitch stability means that guylines are only<br />
required in exceptional circumstances. This significantly<br />
reduces the pitching area required.<br />
REGULAR FIT (pants): A classic, straight leg cut offering<br />
very good freedom of movement. It is suitable for all<br />
types of fabric and for classic outdoor activities (mountain<br />
sports, trekking, hiking and travel).<br />
REGULAR WAIST: The waist band sits just below the<br />
navel at the front and is slightly raised at the back. This<br />
design offers protection and freedom of movement for<br />
classic outdoor activities (mountain sports, trekking, hiking<br />
and travel).<br />
ROCKWAVE: A comfortable sole for fast & light hiking<br />
on and offtrail. Its five components ensure outstanding<br />
hiking performance and excellent wear comfort:<br />
1. abrasionresistant rubber outsole with flex zones in the<br />
forefoot for superior grip<br />
2. additional shock pad (visible) in the heel<br />
3. fulllength cushioning midsole made of EVA<br />
4. insole (1.5 mm PE or EVA depending on the model)<br />
5. perforated EVA footbed with moisture regulating polyester<br />
covering fabric<br />
RUNAWAY: A suregrip, sturdy sole for children’s leisure<br />
footwear, consisting of four components:<br />
1. light and flexible rubber outsole with antslip, abrasion<br />
resistant tread<br />
2. extra “shock pad” cushioning component in the heel<br />
3. thin midsole<br />
4. removable EVA footbed for extra cushioning<br />
Rapid lacing system: In this very simple quickpull system<br />
the laces run through lowfriction, crescent shaped<br />
lace guides. Interspaced at the optimal distance from one<br />
another, they allow the lacing to be evenly adjusted with<br />
a single pull.<br />
S.FRESH: Fabrics with S.FRESH hygiene technology reduce<br />
the growth of bacteria and the typical odours associated<br />
with sweating. The treatment works only in the fabric itself,<br />
not on the skin. It is predominantly used in our functional<br />
shirts.<br />
SILICONE HT NYLON RIPSTOP 40D: A lightweight<br />
flysheet fabric, designed for extreme use. The high tenacity<br />
(HT) ripstop nylon has a double coating of silicone on each<br />
side; this makes it durably waterproof and provides outstanding<br />
tensile strength and tear strength. Weight: 57 g/m 2 .<br />
SILICONZED HT NYLON RIPSTOP 20D: Ultra lightweight<br />
flysheet fabric with a silicone coating on the outside<br />
and a PU coating on the inside. The base fabric is a thin<br />
ripstop nylon. The seams are sealed for waterproofness.<br />
Weight: 46 g/m 2 .<br />
SKYWALKER: Extremely light, flexible and comfortable<br />
sole for travel and leisure footwear, consisting of three<br />
components:<br />
1. two abrasion resistant rubber sections form the tread<br />
of the outsole<br />
2. the EVA midsole ensures good cushioningand he tread<br />
is implanted into the midsole at the heel and toe<br />
3. PU footbed has a moisture regulating polyester covering<br />
fabric<br />
SLIM FIT: In addition to “normal fit” children’s footwear,<br />
we also offer various models in a “slim fit” version suitable<br />
for narrower feet. These are highlighted with the SLIM icon.<br />
SOFTTOUCH 20D/50D: A breathable, soft and densely<br />
woven, polyester fabric used as lining fabric in our sleeping<br />
bags.<br />
SOFTTOUCH PONGEE 50D: A skinfriendly, fast drying<br />
sleeping bag lining fabric.<br />
SOFTTOUCH RIPSTOP 15D/30D: Densely woven, highly<br />
breathable and very lightweight shell fabric for sleeping<br />
bags.<br />
SPRING STEEL: A very tough yet flexible steel used, for<br />
example, in the back frames of our rucksacks.<br />
STORM HOOD (FIXED): The tunnel forms an extra deep<br />
tunnel in front of the face, keeping it dry even in windblown<br />
rain. The volume and field of vision are adjustable.<br />
STRETCH BELT: This elasticated rucksack waist belt gives<br />
unparalleled ventilation and freedom of movement. The<br />
belt is seamlessly integrated into the body of the pack and<br />
provides a perfect snug fit around the waist, rather like a<br />
motocross protector belt. The closure system is precisionadjustable<br />
to the nearest millimetre via the wide hook &<br />
loop tab.<br />
STRIP DOWN (tents): We quote two different tent weights<br />
to make it easier to compare them to other tents on the<br />
market.<br />
1. The maximum weight includes all parts and accessories;<br />
this corresponds to the delivery weight (original<br />
packaging).<br />
2. The STRIP DOWN weight, includes only the essential<br />
items needed to ensure that the tent can be pitched:<br />
tent, poles and the minimum number of pegs.<br />
SUMMIT HOOD: Detachable hood with separately engineered<br />
reinforced visor. The volume and field of vision<br />
are adjustable with one hand.<br />
SUPPLEX: Supplex is a tried and tested UV protection<br />
fabric made of nylon fibres. It has a soft, supple texture, is<br />
easy care, crease resistant and very robust. Its high UV<br />
protection factor (40+) meets the AS/NZS 4399/1996<br />
standard; it blocks out 97.5 % of harmful UV A and UV B<br />
rays. The protection function is durably embedded in the<br />
fibres themselves and is not affected by contact with sweat<br />
or water.<br />
SUPPLEX SLUB: This version of the fabric has a linenlike,<br />
irregular (“slub yarn“) structure.<br />
