1 July 1957 The 3600th Flying Training <strong>Wing</strong> (<strong>Fighter</strong>) reassigned to the<br />

Flying Training <strong>Air</strong> <strong>Force</strong>-<strong>Air</strong> Training Comm<strong>and</strong>.<br />

23 August 1957 First German AF class entered F-84 training. Class included<br />

seven World War II Luftwaffe aces.<br />

climbs into a North American F-100 at <strong>Luke</strong> AFB.
