<strong>56th</strong> Maintenance Group <strong>and</strong> redesignation of <strong>56th</strong> Maintenance<br />

Group as Materiel Group.<br />

26 May 2008 <strong>56th</strong> Comptroller Squadron lost 12 authorizations due to transfer<br />

of military pay <strong>and</strong> travel pay functions to <strong>Air</strong> <strong>Force</strong> Financial<br />

Services Center at Ellsworth AFB, South Dakota.<br />

30 May 2008 It was reported Volunteers to the <strong>Air</strong> <strong>Force</strong> Program<br />

implemented where members of Arizona Civil <strong>Air</strong> Patrol<br />

provided manpower assistance to <strong>56th</strong> <strong>Fighter</strong> <strong>Wing</strong> in noncombat<br />

roles.<br />

support for 944th <strong>Fighter</strong> <strong>Wing</strong> Instructor Pilots augmenting<br />

<strong>56th</strong> <strong>Fighter</strong> <strong>Wing</strong> Instructor Pilots under Associate Instructor<br />

Pilot Program (see entry 31 December 1999). 69th <strong>Fighter</strong><br />

Squadron to take over 301st <strong>Fighter</strong> Squadron mission.<br />

13 June 2008 Last CCIP Block 42 F-16 scheduled for Block 52 upgrades left<br />

<strong>Luke</strong> (see entry 15 September 2005).<br />

27 June 2008 Acting Secretary of the AF Donley directed delay in<br />

reorganization to global wing structure (see entry for 12 May<br />
