Gallery at the Merc
The Gallery at the Merc is a new exhibit space incorporated
into the entrance of the Old Town Temecula Community Theater
in the historic Mercantile Building. Exhibits feature local,
regional and national artists. For information on current and
upcoming exhibitions, call the Cultural Arts Administrator at

David Musser
June 8 - July 29
Long time and well-known Temecula resident artist, David Musser will exhibit his
watercolors and oils consisting of images of the region. Musser is known for his
expressive plein air watercolors and paintings of the Temecula Valley and beyond.
Nicole Toesca
August 3 - 17
Toesca’s passion for
photography stems from its
great gift for preservation and
its limitless artistic possibilities
- possibilities that begin with
the photographer's skillful
interpretation of a scene. Her
photographs, whether of a
storm in Joshua Tree Natural
Park, Euro cats on cobbled
streets, or colorful villages of France and Italy, are refreshing and exuberant.
The Two Long-Time Friends Art Show
August 24 - September 30
Featuring the work of Mason Williams and
Robert Willis through the 60's and 70's, Bob
Willis and Mason Williams collaborated on
several books, some graphic stuff and a few
"activities" which gained respectability some
years later when defined as performance
pieces. Then Bob packed-off to France to
paint and write and taste the wines. Mason
split for Oregon to write prose, poetry, and
music, play guitar, turn brain twists into
graphics and fly fish that branch of the
Willamette River that flows past his cabin.
Now with this exhibit they'd like to show you
a bit of their past endeavors as well as what
they've been up to lately.
Contemporary Quilts
October 5 - November 4
In conjunction with the Old Town Quilt Show, the Gallery at the Merc will be
hosting contemporary quiltmakers from all over Southern California.
Visual Expressions:
November 9 - December 2
This annual exhibition sponsored by the Arts Council of Temecula Valley features
the finest visual arts talents of the region.
Tyrone Crosby
December 7 - February 10, 2008
Immersed in the daily maelstrom of law enforcement as a detective on the San
Diego Police Department, Tyrone Crosby finds solace and satisfaction in his
artwork. A former marine who has worked in the areas of narcotics, gangs, and
crimes against people and property, Crosby has managed to build a reputation as
an artist.
