Holiday Lights & Festive Sights
Attention all “Clark Griswold’s”! Do you go all out for the holiday with lights
and yard decorations? If you answered yes, then we have a contest for
you! Enter our annual Holiday Lights & Festive Sights home decorating
contest. You can either be judged as an individual residence or as a
neighborhood. To enter: Entry forms will be available at City Hall and on
the City website (www.cityoftemecula.org) beginning Monday, October 8th.
City officials and dignitaries will judge all entries. Fabulous prizes will be
handed out at the awards ceremony. Bring some holiday spirit to your
neighborhood and Temecula this year!

hockey arena into our
very own outdoor skating
rink complete with a DJ.
Remember, helmets are

10th Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony
Come spend the evening with us at the beautiful Temecula Duck Pond to light up
the sky and mark the beginning of the holiday season. This annual event
promises to be filled with festive live entertainment, refreshments and holiday fun
for the entire family!

Holiday Craft Workshop
Hey kids, do you need ideas for holiday gifts? Is your piggy bank almost empty
and you still have some gifts to buy? Our holiday craft workshop is priced just
right for you! Our staff have come up with some great gift ideas. Join us for a
fun-filled morning and leave your holiday worries behind. Family participation is
encouraged.

Potpourri for the Holidays
Join us in celebrating the rich scents and aromas of the holiday season! Create
your own potpourri by experimenting with different blends of flowers, leaves, and
herbs, customized to appeal to your senses! Potpourri makes a wonderful gift for
the holidays. Children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult.

Holiday Lights Bus Tour
Do you want to see the winning homes in our Holiday Lights & Festive Sights
home decorating contest without the hassle of driving yourself? Join us for our
annual bus tours. Get your friends and family together for a fun evening on a
comfortable chartered bus. Registration is required.
Buses will depart from the CRC. Fee: $8.00/per person

Swing Dance & Etiquette
Tired of “elbows on the table” and “dancing with two left feet”? Then join us for
an evening of manners made fun! Professional etiquette instructor Angela
Sturdivant and Swing Dance instructor Sarah Fekete will partner up to teach the
fun of ballroom dance and the etiquette that goes along with it. Pre-registration
is required.

Country Line Dance
Join us for an old fashioned family country line dance lesson! Professional Line
Dance instructor Nita German will be teaching parents and kids three line dances
and one circle dance. It’s sure to be a stompin’ good time. Don’t forget your hat

Dinner Club at the Merc
Make a date with us! Come experience delicious cuisine from various
regions of the world. Dinner Club at the Merc is an exciting new program
where you join cultural experts for an adventurous evening of dinner
highlighting the food, music, and recipes from different global regions.
Bonus: A world of fun to enjoy with friends and you might even make some
new ones! Space is limited, so enroll early.
