The Science of Harry Potter
Preview Night: Friday, June 1, 5:30-7:30 pm
This magical evening will give you a small taste of July’s Science of Harry Potter
Workshop…don’t forget to bring some Muggle money to spend on the nifty
objects you’ll find in Pennypickle’s little gift shop! Tickets to Preview Night are $5
per person and will be limited, so purchase them early.

Temecula Children’s Museum
Home of Professor Phineas T. Pennypickle, Ph.D., scientist, time
traveler and inventor of wacky and wonderful contraptions that amaze,
delight and educate children and adults alike. Every surface of wall,
ceiling and furniture is occupied by pulleys, gears, cables, notes,
blueprints and stuff. There are secret passageways and puzzles,
machines and gizmos. Children must be accompanied by an adult 18

All kids visiting the Imagination Workshop on Flag Day will receive a free
Beaker-size mini flag!

Father’s Day, Sunday, June 17, every session
All fathers and grandfathers receive free admission when accompanied by a
child. (Sorry, Dad/Grandpa is not considered a child no matter how big a kid he
is – you’ll actually have to bring one!)
Explore the Wacky World of Weather
Friday, June 22, 5:30-7:30 pm
Wet, dry, cold, hot, tornadoes and hurricanes… discover weather facts and fun
with the Professor’s assistants. Science lab activities on this evening are free with
regular admission!
The Imagination Workshop will be closed on Wednesday, the 4th of July
so the Professor and Beaker can celebrate at the Sports Park!
Hot Summer Nights
Fridays from July 13 – August 31, 5:30-7:30 pm
Enjoy free popcorn on the porch and visit the Imagination Workshop Open House
for only $2 per person!
Workshop: Saturday, July 7, 8:00 am-4:30 pm
The Professor is pulling out all the stops to offer this extraordinary one-of-a-kind
event to fans of Harry Potter. Focusing on science rather than magic, students of
this all-day workshop will attend six different, amazing classes and generally be
transported to the world of Hogwarts for a day! There will be lots of take-home
goodies and surprises. Tuition is $125 per student and space is limited to 16
students per classroom. Enrollment will end June 15, so be sure to reserve early.
Beaker’s Little Birthday
Sunday, August 12, 1:00-3:30 pm
Professor Pennypickle had a huge birthday bash – but Beaker is more comfortable
with just a miniature birthday bash – and that means LITTLE. Help celebrate in
Beaker’s mini style with lots of teeny tiny fun and surprises (who would think that a
birthday cake would be that small?). Beaker’s Little Birthday Party is geared to ages
2 - 6, although older siblings can join the fun also. Tickets are $15 per child, $5 per
parent, and include birthday party favors for the kids to take home.
Pennypickle’s Wacky Robot Invention Convention
Saturday, September 15
Win prizes, show off your inventive skills, and have a blast at this all-day
hands-on marathon of robot building!
Back in Time Series – Knights and Heraldry
Friday, September 21, 5:30-7:30 pm
Anyone with an interest in medieval times will love this event! The Professor is
fascinated by the trappings of knighthood – especially their shields, which were
decorated with the Knight’s family emblem, crest and motto. You will have the
chance to design your own coat of arms and learn a little more about the science
of armor and its protective elements when you visit the Workshop during this
evening. Tickets are $5 per person and space is very limited.
Museum Gone Mad!
October is a month of spine-tingling amusements for children of all ages –
Creepy Crawly Night, Mad Professor Night, the Monster Mash Party, and of
course, the very scary Haunted Museum for teens and older!
Pennypickle’s Science Night

Messy? Gooey? Astonishing? Naturally! That’s what the Professor’s science
night is all about! Phineas’ assistants will demonstrate scientific wonders during
an evening of discovery and laughter-filled learning for all ages. Pennypickle’s
Science Club and Pennypickle Pals members get in FREE! All others, $5.

New Year’s Eve at Noon Party
Monday, December 31, 11:00 am-12:30 pm
Celebrate the New Year Pennypickle-style… at noon instead of midnight! You
won’t want to miss the Professor’s VERY special party offering refreshments,
surprise entertainment and general merry-making for those too young (or old!)
to stay up late! Join the fun on December 31 from 11:00 am-12:30 pm as the
Imagination Workshop closes to the general public for this fun-filled celebration.
Tickets are $15 per person and include party favors for the kids to take home!
