Do you own cast iron cookware and just can't get it seasoned like Mom's? Then
join this informative class on how to properly season and maintain your
cookware. There will also be a cooking demonstration on the versatility of cast
iron, with keen observations and helpful tips for around the kitchen.

Landscape Design
Ages: Adults
Become better educated to make changes in our surroundings so that they will
be more beautiful, useful, convenient, ecologically sound, and easily maintained.
Learn the basic steps in planning a landscape for your home. What should you
emphasize in your design and what should you hide? Learn the history of
landscape design, the current trends (e.g. bird and butterfly gardens), and the
new technology now available as design tools. This three day workshop is the
first of a four-course program that will lead the successful student to certification
as a Consultant to the Landscape Design Council of the National Garden Clubs.

Basic Dog Training
Ages: 12 - Adults
This is a 7-week dog training class that starts with the basics and moves into
intermediate dog training. We teach you to train your dog 16 commands including
sit, down, stay, come, walking on a leash without pulling, and more! Besides
learning obedience commands, we will be covering problem behaviors like
jumping, digging, chewing, barking and more. It is common for the dogs in class
to be learning to stay on a 30’ leash with other dogs and people walking past.

Notary Public Seminar
Ages: 18 - Adults
This intensive one-day seminar is designed to prepare you to become a
knowledgeable Notary Public. You will learn the procedures for proper
notarization; information on how to start your Notary career; understanding the
law and how it affects the way you notarize; how to perform 5 different notarial
acts. 5 must-follow rules for every notarization; the essential ID features; 7
entries in your journal that are required by law for every notarization; when to
refuse to notarize; how to pass the test, which must be taken every 4 years;
safekeeping of the Notary journal and seal; notarizing out-of-state documents.
Materials Fee: The State Exam will be given after the seminar. A $40.00 check
payable to “Secretary of State” is required with proper photo ID.

CPR & First Aid
Ages: 10 Years - Adults
This course provides information on adult, child, and infant CPR, including
recognition and emergency resuscitation techniques for heart attack, stroke and
choking; prevention of injuries and cardiac arrest; and use of barrier devices. First
Aid will provide information on how to manage illness and injuries in the first few
minutes of an emergency until professional help arrives. 2-year certification card
received after successful completion of each class.

Class is designed for the prospective U.S. Citizen to prepare for citizenship.
Includes introductory study in U.S. history and government at the federal, state,
and local levels. Information provided regarding basic geography, an introduction
