Treatment is aimed at curing secondary
infections, relieving symptoms, and
prolonging life.
Combination treatments or protease inhibitors
are the best drugs to stop the action of an
enzyme which ordinarily helps HIV to
reproduce. It is a way to prolong life.

or food handled by an HIV-infected person.
~ Bytouching shared objects such as toilet seats,
drinking fountains, doorknobs, dishes, or
drinking glasses.
