1. By January 1, 2013, OKDHS will clearly outline the roles and responsibilities for each child<br />

welfare staff member to incorporate qualitative and quantitative data into their work. <strong>The</strong>se<br />

will be written and incorporated into each employee’s annual evaluation.<br />

2. By January 1, 2013, OKDHS will create a Performance Quality Assurance (PQA) team led by a<br />

deputy director supervised directly by the division director.<br />

3. By January 1, 2013, OKDHS will determine the key data points to be measured. This data will<br />

be available at the state, region, county, and unit level and will change the key indicators<br />

currently included in the quarterly meeting with the OKDHS Director.<br />

4. By July 1, 2013, OKDHS will develop a process/strategy for establishing a culture <strong>of</strong> data<br />

analysis and mining and determine the role <strong>of</strong> CQI and PQA staff in assisting with this<br />

function.<br />

5. By July 1, 2013, the key data points will be available to the public at the county, regional, and<br />

state level.<br />

6. By September 1, 2013, OKDHS will create the standard for comprehensive quality review<br />

meetings with onsite involvement <strong>of</strong> child welfare leadership. This will be an enhanced<br />

version <strong>of</strong> what exists today and will provide the opportunity for immediate feedback.<br />

7. By September 1, 2013, OKDHS will create a standard for incorporating information from<br />

other sources into the review process.<br />
