Rabbit Creek Offers More Than
350 Specialty Food Items
Nestled on the outskirts of a small eastern
Kansas town is Rabbit Creek Products.
Started in 1984 with a 12-bean soup mix and
named after a creek that runs behind the
property, Rabbit Creek has progressed to
more than 350 products, running the gamut
from dips to brownies along with breads,
scones, muffins and many other products.
Still family-owned, Rabbit Creek believes
that customer service is their most important
achievement, especially in the current economic
times. All of Rabbit Creek’s products
are still made by hand, from start to finish;
blending to packaging to decorating is done
with pride and care every step of the way.
More than 30 different types of brownies
are offered—Caramel Apple, Crème
Brulee, Rocky Road and their awardwinning
Killer Mudd to name a few. The
same with their breads: beer, quick, wine
and olive oil. Cheesy Garlic, Monkey
Bread, Multi-Whole Grain, Classic, and
Garlic with Cheese Chardonnay being
some; all breads are also offered in the
flower-pot. Dips are offered in both vegetable
and fruit, savory and sweet. The dips
can also be ordered in a Chip and Dip set
consisting of clay saucer for the chips and a
two-piece dip pot that keeps the dip cool.
Rabbit Creek has a gluten-free line made
in a dedicated kitchen and includes a cookie,
brownie, quick bread and pancake mix. Their
fudges are microwave fudges and can be prepared
in minutes. Twenty-four muffins, including
three corn muffins, some with
streusel topping or others like the lemon
cheesecake, can all be ordered in the muffinpots
which come with the muffin mix and six
small flower-pots. The scones come with a
decorative whisk tied to the package. In the
soups there are four that are sized to individual
proportions; these Soup for One’s are fast
and easy to prepare and are enough for one
person, perfect for lunch. There is a sugarfree
line as well containing several cheesecakes,
dips, a cookie and a cake.
Rabbit Creek offers private labeling for
any of its products and with only a one case,
12 items, minimum order and a $20 one time
fee is a bargain. Rabbit Creek’s recessionbuster
special allows customers to choose
three per flavor to make up a case of like
packages, i.e. breads, brownies, muffins,
gluten-free, scones and soups are a like category.
So if a customer only needs three or
six of a flavor, that’s all that is needed as
long as a total of 12 are ordered. With 25
new items offered this year, including a
gooey butter cake to come out the first of the
year, Rabbit Creek Products is your source
for gourmet mixes.
Discover The Taste Of Smoked Basmati
At The Winter Fancy Food Show
So you think you’re a gourmet?!
If you are, then you’ve probably heard of
smoked rice before. You have not? Then
allow us to introduce a one-of-a-kind taste.
The story of smoked rice reaches far into
the past and tradition. The root of this recipe
actually comes from two small towns in the
old Persia where many fishermen and rice
growers had their home. In order to make a
healthy living, growers not only consumed
rice for themselves but also started to trade
the valuable commodity. Whatever was left
over from the trade was smoke-dried until
the next harvest. The local wood blessed the
rice with a special flavor which was soon to
become a real delicacy of that region.
Today, only a handful of people know the
real recipe of smoking rice. Founded by
Persians, Basmati Rice GmbH Europe has
worked over many years to perfect this special
smoking process and is proud to be able
to offer this delicious, international awardwinning
Smoked Basmati to the market.
Their Smoked Basmati soon reached a
high level of popularity among
Michelin star chefs all over
the world.
Even internationally known
rice specialist chef Rainer Mitze
from Germany, who has cooking
schools all over the world, was
overwhelmed by the unique taste
of this Basmati:
“This rice is unbelievable in
both taste and aroma. You can serve it with
almost every fish and even chicken.”
But to be honest, the Smoked Basmati is
so tasty that you can eat it as a main course.
Simply add some butter and onions to the
rice and you are good to go.
The ATRY Smoked Basmati rice was
awarded the Superior Taste Award
by the International Taste & Quality
Institute, which is the leading
independent chef- and sommelierbased
organization dedicated to
testing and promoting superiortasting
food and drink from around
the world.
Basmati Rice North America,
LLC. now offers you this precious
