Victoria Gourmet’s new window tin has been<br />
selected as a Silver Finalist for Outstanding<br />
Packaging Innovation in the 2011 sofi<br />
Awards from the National Association for<br />
the Specialty Food Trade, Inc. The sofi<br />
Awards recognize excellence in specialty<br />
foods and beverages and are a coveted<br />
industry honor. “sofi” stands for Specialty<br />
Outstanding Food Innovation.<br />
The new window tin design was one of<br />
110 Silver Finalists selected by a national<br />
panel of specialty food experts from 1,657<br />
contenders across 31 Awards categories.<br />
Gold Winners will be announced in a<br />
red-carpet ceremony July 11, 2011 at the<br />
Summer Fancy Food Show in Washington,<br />
D.C. hosted by noted chef Cat Cora.<br />
“I am so excited that the judges picked our<br />
new design as a finalist. The industry recognition<br />
is so important and just being nominated is<br />
great for us,” says Victoria Taylor, founder of<br />
Victoria Gourmet. The new innovative window<br />
tin delivers the three most important things<br />
consumers are looking for: 1) taste, 2) freshness<br />
and 3) the ability to see the product. The<br />
side view window allows a look inside―but<br />
minimizes direct exposure to light―keeping<br />
the product fresh and flavorful.<br />

NASFT, a not-for-profit trade association<br />
established in 1952 with more than 2,900<br />

The first truly new fruit to be launched since<br />
the kiwi, the story of the Peppadew is as intriguing<br />

was in the garden of his holiday home in<br />
South Africa, when he spotted an unusual<br />
bush laden with small, bright-red fruit.<br />

Shortbread Cookie has just won the coveted<br />
NASFT sofi Silver Award for Outstanding<br />
