Fire Management Assistance Grant Program (CFDA
Number: 97.046) – Program provides assistance for the
mitigation, management, and control of fires on publicly or
privately owned forests or grasslands, which threaten such
destruction as would constitute a major disaster.
Flood Mitigation Assistance Program (CFDA Number:
97.029) – Program provides funding to assist states and
communities in implementing measures to reduce or eliminate
the long-term risk of flood damage to buildings, manufactured
homes, and other structures insurable under the NFIP.

97.039) – Program provides grants to states and local
governments to implement long-term hazard mitigation
measures after a major disaster declaration.
Homeland Security Grant Program (HSGP) (CFDA
Number: 97.067) – Program enhances the capacity of state
and local emergency responders to prevent, respond to,
and recover from a weapons of mass destruction (WMD)
terrorism incident involving chemical, biological, radiological,
nuclear, and explosive (CBRNE) devices and cyber attacks.
Individuals and Households Grant Program (Disaster
Assistance) (CFDA Numbers: 97.048, 97.049, 97.05) –
Program provides money or direct assistance to individuals,
families and businesses in an area whose property has been
damaged or destroyed and whose losses are not covered by
insurance.
Map Modernization Management Support (CFDA
Number: 97.070) – Program provides funding to supplement,
not supplant, ongoing flood hazard mapping management
efforts by the local, regional, or state agencies.
National Dam Safety Program (CFDA Number: 97.041)
– Program provides financial assistance to the states for
strengthening dam safety programs. (states)
