The Federal Surplus Property Program – Offers a virtually
limitless variety of property to municipalities and other
nonprofit organizations within Pennsylvania. From paper
clips to battle ships, from computers to concrete block, it can
meet property needs through this program.
The property itself is donated to the municipality from the
Federal Government. Applicants do incur a service charge,
however, to cover the state’s cost of administering the
program.

PENNSYLVANIA DEPARTMENTS
The Fixed Price Sales Vehicle Program – Enables the
bureau to offer General Services Administration fleet vehicles
to municipalities before these vehicles go to public auction.
Cars, trucks, vans, alternative fuel vehicles, pick-up trucks,
ambulances, and fire trucks are all available through this
program.
Choose from stock vehicles or submit requests for vehicles.
The State Surplus Property Program – offers
Commonwealth-owned office equipment and supplies
through its warehouse at 2221 Forster St. in Harrisburg, and
offers a variety of items on-line through eBay (www.ebay.com,
seller id pastatesurplus). Sales are open to the general public.
Store hours are 9 AM to 2:45 PM, Monday through Friday.
Surplus property auctions are held as-needed across the
Commonwealth. Additionally, offered are off-road equipment,
bridge equipment, dump trucks, and other maintenance
equipment to municipalities before these items are offered for
sale to the general public.
