In future research, we can use the visual stimuli to investigate the bizarreness and schematic effects<br />

as they pertain to perception using the same methodology as in our previous research. In addition to the<br />

independent variables that have been used, we may want to investigate how the position (before, during or<br />

after the sentence) of the visual stimulus affects recall. In this study, we asked participants to rate how<br />

strange a sentence was. In future research we can use a variety of new rating questions with the visual<br />

stimuli. If we show the picture after mental images are formed, we can ask the participants to rate how<br />

closely their mental image matched the visual stimulus. If we show the picture first, we can ask participants<br />
