In future research, we can use the visual stimuli to investigate the bizarreness and schematic effects
as they pertain to perception using the same methodology as in our previous research. In addition to the
independent variables that have been used, we may want to investigate how the position (before, during or
after the sentence) of the visual stimulus affects recall. In this study, we asked participants to rate how
strange a sentence was. In future research we can use a variety of new rating questions with the visual
stimuli. If we show the picture after mental images are formed, we can ask the participants to rate how
closely their mental image matched the visual stimulus. If we show the picture first, we can ask participants
