pivots. The liquid-filled chamber stabilizes

cushions against impacts. The compass and
scale have luminous points. The compass
(1¾" dia.) is mounted on a clear, strong plastic
base (5½" x 2½"), features a graduated 0°-360°
scale in 2° increments, and has a declination
correction scale. The base has centimeters, inches, 1:50000, 1:25000, and meter scales. The base also has
