BeeSpi “V” Speed Measuring Tool
With the push of a button accurately measure
the velocity of small objects. Ideal for use in
experimental tests of speed and acceleration.
BeeSpi detects an object passing through two
points about 40 mm apart via built-in photosensors
and indicates the velocity of the
object in digital form. Infrared sensors located
at two spots on the inside wall of the unit
detect the time when the object passes each
spot, and the velocity of the object, calculated
from the time difference, is indicated. Also
measures lap time as basic feature, and the use
of two BeeSpi units allow acceleration to be

Acceleration Timer (DC)

The included timer software records rising and
falling-edge events in an easily exportable

Complete Precision Air Table
A unique recording system allows quantitative measurements in experiments covering
topics such as Newton’s laws, conversion from potential to kinetic energy, centripetal
force, harmonic action, motion in two dimensions, oscillations, and collisions. A spark
generator delivers a spark from the centre of the bottom of each puck at one of six
frequencies. The spark leaves a mark on recording paper placed on the table, leaving a
record of each puck’s location in preset time intervals. The spark source can be operated
from 60Hz standard 110V line at one of six rates: 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 or 100 milliseconds
between sparks. Air is supplied through the actual puck via flexible tubing. Includes an
