Viewing alarm log files<br />

The Alarm Log Viewer displays the contents of alarm log files. The<br />

contents of the alarm log files depend on how you set up alarm<br />

severities in the Alarm Setup editor.<br />

For information about the contents of the alarm log ODBC tables, see<br />

page C-2.<br />

You can display alarm log files stored either on the local computer or<br />

on a remote computer, and you can select the number of log files to be<br />

displayed in the alarm log viewer. Each alarm log file is displayed in a<br />

separate tab in the alarm log viewer.<br />

To open the alarm log viewer<br />

In <strong>RSView</strong> Studio or the <strong>RSView</strong> Administration Console, click the<br />

Tools menu, and then click Alarm Log Viewer.<br />

You can also open it by clicking the Windows Start button, selecting<br />

Programs, Rockwell Software, <strong>RSView</strong> Enterprise, Tools, and then<br />

clicking SE Alarm Log Viewer.<br />

Click the Start menu, select Programs, Rockwell Software, <strong>RSView</strong><br />

Enterprise, Tools, and then click SE Alarm Log Viewer Help.<br />
