Opening the Data Log Models editor<br />

To open the Data Log Models editor:<br />

1. In the Application Explorer, open the Data Log folder and doubleclick<br />

the Data Log Models icon or right-click the icon and then<br />

click New.<br />

Set up general aspects of<br />

the model.<br />

Specify the paths to which<br />

the data is logged.<br />

Specify when log files<br />

will be created and deleted.<br />

Specify how and when<br />

logging should occur.<br />

Specify the tags for which<br />

you want to log data.<br />

Specifying the storage format<br />

In the Setup tab of the Data Log Models editor you provide a log file<br />

identifier string, which becomes part of the file name for the data log<br />

files, and select a storage format. You can also type a description of the<br />

model. This is for information only.<br />
