The menu bar<br />

The menu bar contains the menu items for the active window. Each<br />

editor has its own set of menus.<br />

The toolbar<br />

The toolbar contains buttons for commonly-used menu items to<br />

provide access to the items without opening menus. When you point to<br />

a button on the toolbar, the name of the button is displayed in a tooltip.<br />

Objects toolbar<br />

All of the editors use the Standard toolbar. The Graphic Displays and<br />

Graphic Libraries editors have additional toolbars that are displayed<br />

when you open a graphic display in either editor.<br />

The Application Explorer<br />

The Application Explorer is the main tool for working in <strong>RSView</strong><br />

Studio. It provides access to the editors you use to set up the<br />

application and create its components. For more information about the<br />

Application Explorer, see page 2-8.<br />

The workspace<br />

The workspace is the blank area of the <strong>RSView</strong> Studio window, to<br />

which you can drag and drop icons from the Application Explorer to<br />

launch editors and open graphic displays. For details, see “Working in<br />

the Application Explorer” on page 2-8.<br />
