This tab shows the Application Explorer.<br />

The Communications tab<br />

The Communications tab shows the devices on the network available<br />

to the computer hosting RSLinx ® Enterprise. Use this tab for setting<br />

up network types and browsing device shortcuts on the configured<br />

networks.<br />

For details, see Chapter 7, Setting up communications or the RSLinx<br />

Enterprise Help.<br />

The Diagnostics List<br />

The Diagnostics List shows information about system activities. It’s<br />

located above the status bar at the bottom of the window and can be<br />

moved, resized, and the messages cleared. Use the Diagnostics Setup<br />

tool to select the types of messages that appear in the Diagnostics List.<br />

For details, see “Message routing” on page 12-4 or the Help for the<br />

Diagnostics Setup tool.<br />

Messages in the Diagnostics List<br />

Diagnostic messages are preceded by a blue, yellow, or red icon. Blue<br />

indicates information, yellow indicates a warning, and red indicates an<br />

error.<br />

To move the Diagnostics List<br />

the grab bars.<br />

1. With the left mouse button, click and hold the grab bars at the<br />

bottom left of the Diagnostics List.<br />
