To start <strong>RSView</strong> Studio and select a product type<br />

1. On the Windows ® Start menu, select Programs, Rockwell<br />

Software, <strong>RSView</strong> Enterprise, and then click <strong>RSView</strong> Studio<br />

2. In the Product Type Selection dialog box, click the icon for the<br />

type of application you want to create, and then click Continue.<br />

The New/Open Application dialog box opens in<br />

which you can select an existing application to open, or create a new<br />

application.<br />

Opening an application<br />

To open an existing application<br />

1. Start <strong>RSView</strong> Studio and select the product type.<br />

2. In the New/Open ... Application, click the Existing tab.<br />

3. In the Existing tab, click the name of the application you want to<br />

open, and then click Open.<br />

To open an application you used recently<br />

<br />

On the File menu in the Application Explorer, select Recent Files<br />

and then click the name of the application you want to open.<br />

Opening the Samples application<br />

To familiarize yourself with the <strong>RSView</strong> Studio development<br />

environment, you can open the sample application. You’ll find it in the<br />

Existing tab of the New/Open SE Distributed Application dialog box.<br />

To open the Samples application:<br />

1. Start <strong>RSView</strong> Studio and select the SE Distributed product type.<br />
