Editors
Editors are for creating or setting up application components. To open
an editor, do one of the following:
• Drag the editor’s icon from the Application Explorer to the
workspace.
• Right-click the editor’s icon to open the context menu, and then
click New or Open.
• Click the Tools menu and then click the editor to select it.
If you can use the editor to create multiple components, the context
menu contains New. If the editor can open only a single component,
the context menu contains Open.

Specify the type of alarm activity to be logged,
and where, when, and how it will be logged.
The settings you specify using this editor apply
only to the computer you are using and only iff it
contains an HMI server.
