Subruns Skip Presley
And Book 'Costello'
MINNKAPOLIS- When the ten .subruns
the first 28-day break have had the choice
of two or more pictures, they normally firab
the one which has delivered best during It^
Loop first run However, the de luxe Terrace
Elvis Presley's -Jallhouse Rock" for •The
Story of Esther Cosiello.' although the former
ran downtown for four weeks to hefty
grosses while "Costello" did poorly Its single
stanza.
to re&ch the neighborhood theatres.
ways by the four neighborhood theatres.
A large combined ad by the Terrace
and Riverview states "this is adult enter-
Ulnment with an adult theme— the most bold
and shocking story of the generation." On
the other hand, the St. Louis Park, states in
Its ads that the picture, "with warmth and
understanding deals with a little girl tragically
