The average pass rate for those who successfully cleared their BBBT exams in their first attempt for 2006-09 was 66% vi. In 2007-08, BBBT pass-rates ranged from 10% in Jammu & Kashmir to 100% in Kerala. In 2008-09, they ranged from 18% in Jammu & Kashmir to 95% in Bihar. While the average pass-rate for both years was 66%, there was a decrease in variability across states. The standard deviation of pass-rates though still high fell from 30% to 24%. 2
